Hello and welcome to Chloe’s PGCE showcase blog

‘If the purpose for learning is to score well on a test, we’ve lost sight of the real reason for learning.’ – Jeannie Fulbright.

Through the University of Manchester Primary PGCE course, I hope my innovation and rapport will allow me to create fun and engaging lessons that capture children’s love of learning through computing. Now an integral part of the National Curriculum, computing is a subject which children need to be competent within. I will therefore always try to build cross curricular links to computing within each subject I teach.

Albert Einstein once said ‘Everyone is a genius, but if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.’

Let’s give every child every opportunity to help them grow and learn and, more importantly, to believe they can.
